P3P to P3A Compatibility??

Hi All,

Can you please tell me if the Phantom 3 pro gimble, is compatible with P3 advance AC?? Seen a good P3A for spares has no gimble and was wondering if P3P would fit??

I fly both a P3A and a P3P, and do know that the controllers are interchangeable. As I understand it, the only difference between the two models is the resolution of the camera in video mode. If the spares AC is cheap enough, I'd take that bet. Then at least you'd have a backup for other parts and maybe even a working battery.

The cameras/gimbals are interchangeable.
If you fit a pro camera to an Advanced body, it's now a P3pro and you need P3 pro firmware to make it all work.
all parts are the same.
Even the cameras are identical except for an additional chip and fan in the pro.
