I am looking at purchasing a Phantom 3 and just wondering if I should get the professional or advanced? I was leaning towards the professional with today's price reduction.

It really depends on what you plan on doing with the bird. If 4K video is worth the difference in price, the I would go with the professional. Otherwise the advanced will work out just fine and save you a couple bucks that can be put towards a 2nd battery.

Even with the price drop, if I were to buy today, I'd still go with the Advanced. It does all that I need...

I would go with the Pro,

Unless you NEED 4K video you'd be better off saving the $$ for batteries.
If you don't know if you need 4K video, you don't.

I love my standard. Don't need 4K and in perfect conditions I can fly over a mile. Used the $ difference to buy hard shell backpack and extra battery. And car charger.
