P3A firmware

My P3A has been flying fine on firmware 1.4. I've read various stories of upgrade woes so resisted upgrading. Just wondering what the consensrus of opinion is on upgrading to the latest 1.10. The only reason for upgrading will be to get the latest GEO fence updates. My local airfield Manston, is no more and can't fly anywhere near it!!

Manston gone !!!!!!!!!!

I remember TSR2 took off from there once when I was serving in the RAF.

Just popped on to say that I have been using :-

Go 3.1.5
P3A version 1.10.90
Controller 1.8.0

I have flown for two hours or so on those versions without any mishaps except for one pilot error mishap.

One of the new additions on the GoApp was this :-

Crashed - Lost - and found with the blue dot | DJI Phantom Drone Forum

Just in case you had not seen it. Very useful under the circumstances.

Anyway, when you update I hope that clears the non fly at Manston.

There is a chance that American investors may open Manston again but developers own it now and itching to build houses on it! : (
