Was out flying the drone earlier today and when I landed it was making a really loud screeching sound

Tried turning it off and on / swapping batteries etc and it still made the same sound

contacted Jessops and they have arranged a swap for a new one, bad news is it wont be until late next week !

sounds like its coming from the vision positioning system

I thought it's coming out of a motor.

Sounds like a bearing in one of the motors - have you tried turning each motor by hand (slowly) to feel for any "tight spots"?

You can also smell the motors to see if one burned up. It's a distinct burnt electrical smell.

It definitely sounded like it was coming from the positioning system or in that area.
