P3A disconnected from Remote at Midflight.

I have updated my P3A to FW 1.4. after successful upgrade I calibrated IMU and Gimbal. I experienced a hard time connecting the bird and the remote and a disconnected notice appeared on the top status bar, the camera transmission was lost also. I'm just lucky I have a visual contact with the bird and i landed it safely. Why was the connection was lost?

I am confused... if your connection was lost to your remote, you would not have been able to land it, you would have had to wait for signal lost RTH.
