P3 won't update???

Got a replacement bird, synced it to my old controller and it's flying fine. But in the app it says the camera and drone need an update. Tried putting the sd card in the camera and turn on drone but it won't update.

Same card I used to update my first drone's firmware and everything went fine with that one. Any clue?

Check that you followed all of the steps here:

It's possible that your replacement bird has newer firmware installed on it. If so, you'll be able to verify that in the file that is generated on your memory card.

oh, I figured it out thanks to your link. I had a pro before and now I have the advanced. Different firmware. Duh!
