P3 shell from Advexure

Just received a P3 shell from Advexure, another super quick two day pick up to drop off from DHL, I'm impressed!. Also surprised that it came with a full set of screws AND landing gear, which are easily overlooked as they are tucked into the packaging. All in all I'm happy, especially as Advexure do not price gouge, that's a big plus IMHO.

Have not done the changeover yet, I'll post when complete. Should also add the strobe light covers are included.

Mine was just the shells no legs.

I Know they will make me complete if it was in error?

Hi, well the part no. on my box is different, P36557A0635. I was surprised to get legs as well as screws to be honest, as there was no mention in the listing. HTH.

Thank you for pointing out the landing gear. I just got my replacement shell yesterday and didn't see the landing gear. I just went out to the garbage to get the box and I found the landing gear lol

Glad to help! The legs were almost invisible in the cardboard profiles....

the only thing i was dissapointed about is that it didn't come with an internal battery cage as that brakes easily when P3 crashes.

Broken bird

New shell

Taking the mainboard out

Installing mainboard in new shell

But first do the USB port

Install the battery cage

Antennas

RX

Sensors

That card stores the detailed log files, the only way to access them is to attach the bird to the usb port directly and put it in data mode.

yes, i knew it was a black box memory card, i just thought some people may be surprised about it.

I got my shell in and have managed to remove everything from the damaged one.

But, my dear DJI, did you have to snap together the replacement shell? Would it have been less efficient to ship it with the top and bottom separated? My fingers would sure have appreciated not needing to go through that again.

I agree, not hard to have a sheet of paper between top and bottom halves with two rubber bands holding them together.

Not always...seems there are different part no.s on the boxes (see above).

Gear came with mine and I almost threw them away! Swap took a couple of hours and I got worried a couple of times but persevered and am extremely happy with my results. Looked like a brand new P3P and flew like one.
