P3 props on p1/p2?

Have any of you tried it? I'm thinking about trying the p3 props on my fc40. Will it work and any differences compared to the p2 props I currently use?

Ok so I've compared my p2 9440 or whatever with the p3s. The p3s are the same model! Only difference is the inside I guess. Does that mean we can just use the p3 props on any of the (self t) previous phantoms?

Also, anyone locate a store with props in stock other than Dji?

I don't see why not. The threads are the same.

Thanks. I've examined my p2 9450 vs the p3 and they look identical including the inside... While it's colored I don't think the inside is metal but retreat just painted. Has anyone examined and compared the two?

No, p3 props have composite hub, using p2 props can make you loose one prop in mid air...

The P3 props have nylon (or similar) threads.
Easy to cross thread or even force on the wrong motors.
P2 props have metal threads - difficult to get wrong.

And for anyone that doesn't already know .. only use P3 props on a P3.

The composite hubs of the P3 props work on any motor.
It's just the metal hubs that aren't compatible with the P3.
