p3 advanced no camera view and wont update

current owner of a p3 pro,just scored an advanced on ebay cheap with no camera view issues, was hoping a simple firmware fail or something silly.well i get it and it flies fine but has no camera view and the camera and gimble is limp, i tried to update new firmware (it has aprils) and it wont do anyting,no beeps, nothing. when you power on drone the gimble will do its moving ritual and then goes limp.it will link to satelites and fly fine but no camera view it says disconnected i believe using ipad mini 3 that i use on my pro.any input???im using a cleard sd card that i pulled from my pro

As you got two phantoms, you can easily switch gimbals/ cam assemblies to find out what's wrong.
