P2V with Zenmuse

hi there, i ve been flying multis since 2009. i got in my hands a Phanton 2 Vision NOT the Plus
i need to know if i can install the Zenmuse H3-2D or Zenmuse H3-3D
is the P2V software and hardware wise compatible with the zenmuse?

Up until yesterday, I would've said "no".

But, today, I'm keeping an eye on this thread. I have no idea where it's going, but it could be very intriguing. I'm not finding any other posts anywhere about using a Zenmuse on a non-plus Vision, so hopefully someone will expand here

I was just told by DJI support that it is not upgradable to that gimbal.

There is this thread... but the one guy who did it seems to have replaced the entire TX/VX system to reverse the frequencies. Doesn't sound very practical.
But, note,early in the thread, DJI support does say it's "possible, but not recommended".
