P2V Flyaway & Compass Issues

I recently had an issue with my P2V which began flying erratically (including flyaway) during a WayPoints flight. I think the issue may have been caused by performing the compass calibration close to my car (large metal object). In any case I also looked into calibrating the compass using the Phantom Assistant desktop software. Everything seems relatively in order with the X value 159, Y -190 and Mod 1668. The only value that is 'out' is the Z value which is -661. DJI suggests this value should be between -300 and +300. Does anyone know if a value of -661 is significantly abnormal to result in abnormal flight? The only other abnormal behaviour thing I have noticed is that sometimes the aircraft spins on its horizontal axis on decent.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
Cheers, N
