I read that when not flying you should keep the batteries about 50% charged instead of fully charged but since it is raining and probably will not stop soon, how do i decharge the batteries?

Put the Phantom inside, bold it to the ground and let it spin or is there another way?

Also, when reading through the battery manual i noticed something that i overlooked, if you press the button for 2 sec and then again it turns on or off, that i know but if you hold it for 5 sec and press it again it will show you the percentage of lifetime left. Must have missed that part when i read everything ;)
