P2 with Sony a5000

Hey guys,

About to mount a Sony a5000 w/ 16mm lens underneath P2. Quality is far superior to GoPro so hoping I can get it airborne. Here's a cropped image a5000 (RAW) vs GoPro3 Black (Wide)

Got a few mounts arriving via eBay... anyone else tried this successfully with an a5000? Any tips?

I would guess the sony cams and the gimble for them z15 would be a bit heavy for the phantom ... I also have the nex7 and video/pics is much more superior the the gopro but is alot more heavy and to get a 5min flight with it won't be worth the money invested for sure.

The NEX7 is a popular camera for the S800/900, but, as you say, too heavy for the P2.
