P2 - New Battery Firmware with 1.08

I have a P2 Phantom that I prefer to keep on firmware v1.08 due to some ridiculous no fly zones near where I live that apply 24/7 to an airport that is not 24/7.

I would however like to upgrade my battery firmware to get the auto-discharge feature. It is annoying to charge my batteries, not fly for some reason and then have to fine time to partially discharge them in the next week.

1. Is anyone flying with updated battery firmware with the drone on 1.08?
2. How did you do it? - Upgrade it all, then downgrade the drone?
3. Did you update any other firmware items, e.g. gimbal etc?

Are you referring to the battery update V2.6 that came out in the P2 assistant software back in Oct 2014??? If you are that battery update no longer works as it was pulled by DJI and never replaced.

Ok, bummer. I liked the idea of the auto discharge functionality.
