P2 ground station

I know this has been pretty much beat to death but with everything I have read so far on this subject I'm trying to figure out if this GS is compatible with PC only. I know its not compatible with android. But some guys say its will work with PC and others say IOS only. So, will it work with PC only.
I purchased the 3d robotics Iris and I love the autonomous flight. I can use my PC or my android cell or tablet. IOS cannot be used with 3DR radios
I would like to put GS on my P2, but Id rather not have to purchase a compatible IOS tablet.
And of coarse I ordered my Iris like a month before DJI made the move to put autonomous flight on the P2.

I'm using the PC DVD that came with it as of a couple of days ago. THe iOS app is downloadable. It comes with the Bluetooth BTU which I don't use. I use the supplied USB cable for linking the ground end to the laptop. Works well but the software is just bit quirky.
