I got a heckuva deal on a P2 back pack to use for my P3. The only difference is in the tx configuration. I saw another mod where someone made a flap/slit in the foam divider to slide the metal handle/support of the tx into, to keep it secure in the backpack
That worked well. But the weight of the tx hangs on this foam divider flap/slit when carrying or wearing the backpack. After much use, the flap was starting to tear. I would find the tx hanging a little closer to the P3 when I opened the backpack
Home Depot has several different "wire wrapped in rubber contraptions" designed for keeping cables neat. I formed one into a funky shape that slides on/off the top of the divider. It holds the flap secure and no more dangling tx, even after carrying long distances
