I have a registration with FAA to fly a drone in 2016 at that time I wasn't asked for my p4 serial number. do I need to register my (drone)in 2018?

Hobbyist registration is not tied to any one aircraft and is good for three years.

Simply affix your regustration # to all of your aircraft and your good to go.
