Overlay GPS info on GoPro Video

I am trying this software called Dashware

How did you get the GPS data? Did you have your iPhone on the Phantom?

The Dashware site makes it sound as if the GoPro records all of this telemetry info. in the video file and it just extracts it, but I've never heard of that.

Interested to know, as it looks ace and is something I've wanted to put on my videos!

They do have an app for the iphone which I did use , but this is what I use
