Just remember you have them in cell phones, laptop computers, cordless tools, high powered torches (flashlights), vape boxes... the list goes on and on.

As long as the cells are not charged out of spec, crushed, etc. fires and expulsion of nasties is rare. There are exceptions and if you're a modeler making your own packs be wary of cheap Chinese stuff.

I keep my RC batteries in metal ammo boxes. Piece of mind if nothing else.
