every legal action EVER taken against dronists?
regularly updated?
so many FAA rules are debated-interpreted here...
ultimate authoritative source might be ACTUAL legal decisions...?
non-contested fines can add confusion...?
court decisions best of all, IMO...

PS. already know about this
The FAA Gave Us a List of Every Drone Pilot Who Has Ever Been Fined
but its only thru June 2016;
all fines seem to be related to "how" & "where" of flights, never "why"...?

There is no online, updated listing that you can check.
The list in article you refer to was obtained by Motherboard using the Freedom of Information Act.
If you want a newer list, you might have to make your own FOI request?

That's because the fines were made in response to actual incidents.
"Why" incidents generally aren't the kind of thing that might attract the FAA's attention and require a response?

Don't know anything about FOI process.
It would be surprising if there has been one
AND ONLY ONE time for such a request from FAA???
No other publication wants to cover that subject?!!!!

if (100) parties want this info enough to each
contribute 1% towards FAA fees for it...

I'd contribute if enough others bring
$$/party down to reasonable amount,
maybe via Go Fund?? which I know
nothing about, & another familiar
with handling bureaucrats should
do FOIA process, too...

There are not "fees", per se, for individuals making FOIA requests. This is a simple recovery of costs associated with researching and compiling the information requested. There may be no cost depending on the size of the information you are seeking. The first two hours and the first 100 pages are free.

All others — The requester is an individual seeking information for personal, not-for-profit, use and does not fall into any of the three categories above. The requester pays for search time after the first two hours and the cost of duplication after the first 100 pages.
