Old Controller won't connect to New P3

had to get a new P3 (just the drone as the old one crashed). The New Phantom won't connect to my old Controller. How do I get them to sync up.

Which Phantom model and P3 remote controller do you own?

Both Professional. The controller was bought October 2015. The Drone was Bought Last week

You should be able to link the remote controller from DJI GO like this:

What version of FW is on the controller? If it's too old, it may incompatible with the newer FW on your new bird.
