So I was about to take off... had lock on... green blinkers with gps and 2 solid red...

the bird was literally trying to take off by itself... was very odd... yes i didnt do a compass calibration, but since I was only 2 miles from my house, I figured oh hell no reason....

it wasnt doing good, it kept landing, no lights indicated anything was wrong, not within a no fly zone....

ended up flipping it over and smacking the black prop in half ha.....

how can i tell if one of the motors is going bad ?

Best place time or place to replace them ?

Also best place to buy new props at... of course I have plenty of the opposite (grey top props).....

Was very odd situations... no wind at all either...

Try to spin them by hand see if one fills different .
Just little more info will help
What software ?
Have you crashed lately ?
Have you calibrated the controller ?
Have you done a advance IMU ?
I got my last set of props from AlleRC fast shipping best price I found

software is at 3.08 (never upgraded to 3.10)
Nope never have crashed yet....
calibrated the controller yes....
advance IMU I dont believe so....

well the one that the blade partially came off feels like it spins freely where the rest of them have a bit of motion i guess you could say LOL...
of course i cant get the blade off... i can usually get them off by hand... i didnt have a tool given to me to take them ... lovely lol

You used RC assistant then did you do it agin in assistant software ?
Calibrating the controller is a 2 step process . Always RC first then in Assistant .

Looks like I need to do it again then with the RC first then the Assistant....

What tool do I need to get this blade off ? Do you guys suggest ordering a new motor ? I am assuming its pretty painless to replace ?

You can use a pair needle nose pliers just set them in don't squeeze them you just want to hold the motor from spinning while you twist the prop with off with your hand .

my P2 came with a little tool, looks kind of like a wrench but it's for holding the motor in place so you can get off a prop... put the little groove in the middle of the tool on one of the "arms" of the motor...
