Notice to US FPVers

Surely, a massive 0.6 watts in an ISM band does not require a HAM license.

Unless your video tx is within the 5.745-5.825 center frequencies AND has a FCC Part 15 compliance label (i've never seen one on any of the tx units commonly used by FPVers), then you do need your amateur license.

Perhaps the R&Rs need to be updated and modernized.....just sayin'....

So you're saying if I take the FCC sticker off, I can get a letter from the FAA and the FCC??? Hot ****! Gotta love this hobby.

I've mentioned this before on this forum, but serisously, get your HAM license. FCC may start cracking down on enforcement.A push by the ARRL is asking for the FCC to step it up this year. It's not hard to get and it's a great skill to have under your belt.

Get started at http://www.arrl.org/getting-licensed

I plan on taking the test 22 April fingers crosses, or is it eyes crossed?
As long as it's not "eyes closed" you should be alright!
