There are many authorized DJI dealers selling batteries on eBay. For example, this battery is legit. Legit batteries can be purchased on Amazon too.
The seller no longer sells on eBay, so thats good. Also, the ad does not say it is a genuine DJI battery. It was also visually clear it was not a DJI battery. Why would anyone save a few bucks & risk their expensive quad with a non-OEM battery is beyond me. I always buy genuine DJI batteries. Besides, if you have a failure with a non-OEM battery, DJI is gonna deny your claim anyways. I feel bad for this person but they put themselves at risk.
Just another good reason to keep your LiPo batteries in a steel ammo can or a safe. LiPo's can be a huge fire risk. While some consider these 'toys', they are not to be toyed with.
