Non-DJI apps cannot connect (help)?

Hi,

I have the P2v+, purchased during the fall/winter last year. I have tried unsuccessfully to get any other app to connect to the DJI on my iPhone5 without success. I am wondering if I am missing something stupid to get this to work?

The official app connects without any issue, but when I try to use the Pix4D or PhantomPano app, it usually just says connecting, without ever connecting.

With the Phantom panomapp be sure the very first time you open it you are connected to the internet so it can communicate with the DJI servers to authenticate. You also need to be connected to the phantom wifi then open the app. Good luck!

Do I need to do that every time, or just the first time? I have tried doing it several times, and it just stays saying connecting...
