Phantom 2 with gimbal. Flew great out of the box, no problems. Attached the gimbal and went to the Phantom assistant. It wanted to upgrade to 3.8. Kept failing. Tried flying, lousy control. After several tries finally completed the upgrade. Drone lights start up solid red...never did this before. Toggle the GPS switch, lights change to solid yellow, flip rotate to calibrate compass, all lights solid green. No power. Battery is good, all calibrations are good. Took apart to check for loose wire or unconnected wires...everything looks intact.

Also is there a way to test the motors hooked up to the computer?

Thank you
Mac

Hmm, not sure. Perhaps try recalibrating the remote with the Phantom Assistant. Make sure to calibrate all controls (including switches).

Did you also check to see if there any RC updates?? When updating firmware you also have to re-calibrate both your RC and Phantom and don't forget to do the advance IMU calibration. Once that is completed do compass cal and you should be good to go.
