no photo album access on galaxy s5

hello everyone

i have the Dji phantom 2 vision+ and a samsung galaxy s5. While in the dji vision app on the phone and connected to drone via wifi i cannot view any pictures in the album section of the app.

i can however view pics on my pc when connected directly to the camera via the mini usb, so i know there are pictures and videos on the sd card.
Worked fine on the s4, when i upgraded to the s5 no access to the album. it reads 'NO ITEM TO SHOW'

i have redownloaded the app directly from dji.com
i hope i am just missing something simple in a settings menu.

any tip or hints would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

I have same issue with my Ipad air was working in past now quit. I can control camera and see live feed just cant see album.
It will work however on my iphone 6 crazy right
