No Gimbal Movement, but everything else works.

I picked up a Phantom 2 Vision + used. Purchased a new battery for it. Everything seems to work except no gimbal movement. I updated the firmware. It as though there is no power to it. I can take videos and pictures. The quad looks brand new. The ribbon cable and other cables look good. Not sure where to look or test from here. Thanks

Yep. Must be a unique problem no one else has or have figured out how to fix it.

I'm getting a "Gimbal motor error" on DJI Vision. Has anybody replaced a gimbal motor? I see one for sale on the internet.

I bought a new battery and left the drone on untill the battery died, i heard you need to discharge a new battery prior to a full charge. The gimbal was working fine during this discharge. The discharge time was around 8 hours. Did this length of time kill the gimbal? Because the battery fully dying did it cause an issue that a reset would fix? Hasn't worked since. The camera works fine, the light is green. Firmware has been updated still not working. there a factory reset? I did buy a new SD card, 32 gig and formatted it and installed the firmware, no change.
