Hi I live on a game farm in South Africa and am considering buying a Phantom 3 Advance.
We are 8 km from the local airstrip at Hluhluwe. Now I read there is a 10 km no fly zone around airports.
This airstrip is only used once in a few weeks. My big question is will my future P3 fly in P mode on our property? Or are there any work arounds for this?

10km sounds more than most countries regulations. Check to find out the rules for South Africa.

That airport sounds like it's unlikely to be listed in the database though.
You can check on the map here:

At 8km out you should have plenty of safe room between the ground and any planes using the strip.

Sounds like you might have a great location for some good photography.
You'll have a blast with the P3.

Good on you!!!!!! Need more of you out there hunting those pieces if garbage
