Just done my first night flight and I used the ground station for the first time to set 5 waypoints . Could see the flashing LEDs clearly and off it went into total blackness. It was great watching that little red aircraft icon follow the route exactly. I find that ground station map a far better way to navigate the drone back to base using the red aircraft icon, rather than the normal display and FPV.
Night flights are fun but if anybody is going to do it, I would suggest you work out the direction of your approach and landing path in daylight first !
