Newbie with brand new Phantom4-A panic.

Hi all,

Tu put it bluntly.. Yesterday was first flight. I did follow the check list. Got the drone to take-off in beginners mode and manoeuvred it a bit.

Thing is: I got absolutly no image. The camera points straight down and won't move. Flying blind...

PS: I did upgrade both the remote and the drone using DJI Go, AND did a EMI/Compass calibration before flight. (first time too)..

Can some cool soul gimme a hand?

I will be testing this, this afternoon (currently 10:23 EDT). I powered off right after flight when the I realized I had no video while in flight. Didn't put the power back since. Batteries charging.. So I can't answer your question right now. But I will!

Also try relinking the remote again. I know you said you can control the drone but a relink might be a quick and easy fix. Also calibrate the camera too

I did. And had to do a remote upgrade too. Had already upgraded the craft firmware.

Got image now. But some tearing and lag. Will work on that today. Any tips?

I'm switching tablets. The Samsung won't cut it anyway. Bought an iPad Mini 3.

Today DJI Go just stopped on me.. Twice. So enough with testing the craft using a tablet that is not in the compatible hardware list. And I was told the brilliance of the screen is goin' to prouve an asset.

.. nop. Doesn't do that anymore. Got some kind of transmission or internal video problem thought, smear and tear. Think I'm gonna change that mini ssd card (the one on the craft).. Right?
