So I am a total newbie in the world of flying things (other than me being in air planes).

As a birthday gift I ordered myself the following setup, after having done my research here:

- DJI Phantom 2 / Zenmuse H3-3D: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1 ... _with.html
- DJI iOSD Mini: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1 ... ni_on.html
- DJI FPV Hub Kit: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1 ... .html/_HUB
- Blue Beam Ultra: http://www.atlantahobby.com/Store/pc/vi ... egory=1060
- DJI 5.8GHz AVL58 Video Downlink Transmitter (TX) Module: http://www.atlantahobby.com/Store/pc/vi ... tegory=868
- Black Pearl Monitor (SMA version): http://www.rangevideo.com/en/lcd-screen ... nector-sma

Not having a clue what I am doing I am trying to put things together and of course I noticed that the Blue Beam Ultra's don't fit the DJI AVL58. They do fit on the Black Pearl however.

So my questions are: What do I need to make this work? Just some adaptor I forgot? Or have I ordered a totally incompatible collection of stuff? And if this is the case, what do I need to exchange to make it work?

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

PS On a side note, do I just need one antenna on the Black Pearl?

You can order SMA to RP-SMA adapters. On my mobile I couldn't see which is which, but a google search for those adapters will yield you what you need.

If the black pearl has two antenna hookups it is best to vary one antenna from the other that way whichever has the best signal will be used. (My boscam RX5802 LCD has the diversity thing or whatever you call it were it picks the best signal between two antennas)

Thank you! So other than the different connectors the SMA version of the Black Pearl works well with the AVL58?

No, the SMA version that rangevideo sells has the channels used by Immersion/Fatshark gear. You'll need the 32-channel version to be compatible with the AVL58.
