new york times - TRAVEL SECTION?!?

She's been sort of annoying since always. Not surprised to see she's a Luddite.

It is a fad at the moment and will subside and level out in the future. I imagine that when cheap consumer cameras made their way into the lives of Americans (thank you Kodak), that a similar thing took place. People probably did not like the feeling that someone could capture their image forever, and then there were the more level headed uses we all take for granted today such as photo id's, security cams, vacationers taking pics of themselves in front of the Grand Canyon, etc. Sooner or later we will not even notice the drones that will be working in our not so distant futures. ;)

cameras are everywhere , mostly for "safety" and surveillance. every business has one, most intersections, even the freeway system here in Cali has them.
police in LA will be wearing them now too. lets add in-car cameras, "nanny-cams", and the mini cam pointed at your face on your computer at home/work.
i just think of it all now as "i'm being watched, just do your business"
