I see in the new Vision App, just published today for Mac and Droid, how to get to the waypoints symbol. However, no maps appear when I activate it. And of course DJI offers no instructions in WIKI. Has anybody solved this puzzle yet?

If you set a static IP on your wifi connection and leave the DNS and gateway blank your phone will still be able to connect to the internet over the cellular connection.

I tried your suggestions and I still get no maps which means it still can't reach the internet for maps.
Any other ideas? This app is just new today, perhaps others will suffer the same problems soon.

Go into the settings of the app and check the box beside groundstation, you will need to let your phone download the maps first over wifi or 3g. I did this on my tablet over wifi without even connecting to the phantom
DJI updated their online vision 2 user manual today, which includes instructions fot using ground control.
