New Phantom 2 owner with battery / power issues... help

Hi Guys,

My new Phantom 2 arrived yesterday and tonight I was un-boxing and trying to basically get set up. Unfortunately I've run into an issue right away and I'm not sure what is wrong.

After following the DJI unboxing video, I must say that my phantom is not behaving like it should be, represented in the video so I'm at an impasse. Could anyone please help? I'd appreciate any advice. I've made a video of the issue and uploaded it to my YouTube channel. Thanks!

To turn it on, you must depress it twice... first rapidly, just touch it, then quickly follow that up with a longer press... maybe one second.

mate watch the DJI video again your not doing it right

1st press the little button once then straight away do it again but don't let go till all the lights and whistles go off it very simple also have a look at the quick start guide all explained just calm down have another beer and breathe deep lol its all fun fun fun

Guys,

I had to laugh when I realized what I was doing wrong. Had I watched the video instead of concentrating more on their instructions it probably would have gone better. Thanks so much for pointing out right away what was wrong.

I'm a bit bummed because, as the P2's might be a bit tight on availability right now I just ordered a P2 with the ZM H3-3D gimbal and the shipper sent me a rev 1.0 with the H3-2D so I guess through that stress I didn't catch what I might be doing wrong. Thanks again guys. I honestly think they should have a voice-over on that video but perhaps I'm also quite absent-minded.

Once I get this all sorted out I can hardly wait to fly. I hope that the the ZM H3-3D will support the GoPro 4 when it's released.
