Hello Guys.

new on this forum, but have been looking around a bit before signing up.

had my Phantom for about a month now, what a fun little machine.

Did a little test the other day, filming while sailing (no wake boarding only two guys out, will come later)

Filmed using a GOPRO 3 silver @ 720/50fps No gimbal or fpv.

I think i will need to get the FPV first ;-) a gimbal later.

The Phantom will still work after a dunking

It depends what you dunk it in really.
Salt water for instance.

ouch, that looks "dead"

i am fully away that a dip in the water = one dead drone, guess that a small risk you have to take.

I downed mine in fresh water. no issues at all. Another landing in salt water landing has killed my GPS, gimbal is ok and GoPro survived. Motors and hardware still work, but something in the brain is not quite right. Not sure how to fix it.

A little edit of the video i shot back in september.

No Gimbal or FPV except on the drift session ( first test flight with gimbal installed)

My Mac crapped out, and refused to work with my Final Cut X (3 years old) so edit in iMovie, which sucks when you are used to final cut.
