New Guy - Phantom downloads

I bought my wife the Phantom 1.1 and she wants to be able to put it into course lock. From what I read, I must download software from the DJis website?

I see they have a Naza-M Assistant Software v2.20, DJI WIN Driver Installer and Phantom Default Configuration Parameters.

Do i need to download all 3 or just 1?

Install the DJI WIN Driver, and then the NAZA Assistant software. Run the software, then plug in your Phantom via USB while it's powered on. The Assistant software will prompt you to upgrade the firmware on the Phantom. Once you do that, apply the Default Parameters from within the Assistant software.

Did you get her a 1.1 or a 1.1.1?

After everything else above, you'll need to make sure the Assistant software shows "Quadrotor X" under the "Aircraft" tab, and the Receiver Type is set to "D-bus" (for a 1.1.1), or "PPM" (for a 1.1) under the "RC" tab.
