I know it's not an issue with the goggles, but not steady like the videos from the Phantom and Maxics I've seen. Is this normal with this type aircraft?

Yes mainly because the camera is NOT mounted on a gimbal. Cranking up the gains in the NAZA flight controller also might steady the drone/video a bit better. This is an old self constructed drone kit from ~ 2014.

I also couldn't focus on the DJI Goggles, which is odd, because I can focus on my Fatsharks with no problem. I guess the idea of having a screen 1/2" from one's eyeball is a bit retarded IMHO. The optics should be set up like a telescope or microscope.
