The camera is most interesting. Can it compete with a GoPro 4 Black or better?

After reading that GoPro will only allow there new cameras to work with there drone and not my session I bought earlier this year, GoPro can go suck wind. I hope they fold. This new drone looks like a winner. Around $1000 from what the video said.

I'm sure most of you have seen this already. I see a number of exciting new features on the Mavic that makes me want to consider trading up. As for the comparison with the Karma. It doesn't look like much of a comparison. Smaller and more compact folded up, lighter, and able to be flown with only a wifi device if you want. The only thing Karma offers that Mavic doesn't is the ability to remove the camera. Meh. Points for the Mavic include the size of the controller sticks (i believe bigger is better) and the screen on the Karma looks poor quality compared to high end Apples and Androids. Based on their first attempt, I don't see GoPro making a big splash. Though I hope they keep at it. I think the Mavic is a result of the Karma and without the possibility of decent competition, it may not have been created.

So how does the Mavic compare to my P4. Should I trade up? It looks like the P4 will have slightly better battery life. And it looks like it will be able to support a larger display (like an Apple 4 mini or Nexus 7). Please point out if you see any others.

The Mavic has a number of new things the P4 does not. Like native FPV. All I have to do is purchase the goggles. Control the Mavic just with a Wifi device. Maintain constant height above ground and maybe a better follow mode where I dont have to have the controller on person. I am also curious of the display on the controller. And I like how it packs up.

What did I miss? I am excited to see them in action!
