I ordered a new battery from Amazon and I got this

I charged it up and went out with my son today and it performed just like the other two I already have. Not until I got home and started to charge all three is that I noticed that this one was different then the other two

I don't see anywhere were it says it's not a DJI battery. Should I return this and ask for a DJI battery?

I'd be leary. Did the app say anything about the battery being different? Just for the heck of it, load the log to Healthydrones and see if there is anything different in the report.

The one with the dimmer lights and that says "COMPATIBLE WITH PH3" is not genuine DJI. I would contact the seller; a lot of forum members have been buying this battery, assuming that it was OEM. Hopefully your seller sends a genuine one!

that one you got is a clone its not dji

"Compatible with " is very suspicion. I wouldn't keep, send it back and upload your pics to Amazon. Im Amazon shopper for a long time, now I see a lot of stores selling fakes on Amazon.

Just keep flying.

I will contact Amazon and return it. I purchased my second battery off Amazon also but it's exactly like the one that came with the bird. I thought I was getting the same one. Wasn't thinking. I should've went to my past orders and Just re-ordered item.

I don't know how to do that plus I read here that you have to pay now to get on that site. I think I will just send it back. Tell them that u thought it was an original battery but a knockoff showed up instead.

This is what the description says on Amazon

"Battery is the same as in phantom 3"

Most companies selling OEM batteries will state so. I have a Canon DSLR and wanted to get extra batteries, power grip, ETC. I had to wade through so much crap to find OEM parts.

Thanks for posting those pics. Now i know what to look for when purchasing additional batteries.

Can you tell which box came with an OEM battery. I contacted Amazon and got s full refund. They are contacting the seller and advising them that they need to change the description to say Compatible that's it's not OEM.

on the Amazon listing it has a link that says "Manual" and it pulls up a PDF of the P3S Manual. Which seller did you buy from? It looks like the listing is for an original battery but you must have been sent a clone by a shady seller.

Now when I pull up the order, the name changed to MallStop. It was Ace something before. Crooks!!!! I guess it's best to pay the money and order straight from DJI.

Trying to save a buck. That's what I get. Lesson learned. I did purchase a spare battery when I got my bird about a month back but I couldn't find that seller again. Even by going to order history. That battery is a genuine DJI. That's where the pics that I posted are from.

Real battery paperwork in box vs paperwork in fake. It didn't even dawn on me. I took the battery out and it looked legit so I went on with it.
