Ordered the FPVLR antenna upgrade from drone nerds. Since they are about 120 miles away it only took a day. Installed it today and went out for a fly. Previous over my neighborhood I could get about 2100-2500 before I had to rth. First flight I hit 3200 and brought it home, second one hit 4k and decided to call it a day. I'm ordering boosters right now lol. Here are some pics installed.

I have the same. I haven't taken it out for a test yet. But I plan to this weekend.

great installation. With amps you double what you get with just antennas, 2 , 3 or 4 watts does not make much difference they all seem to be outputting between 2 and 2.2 watts once you install them on these DJI radios
How would one test the watts the booster would be putting out?

Yea it's a lab quality machine... I remember hearing it did up to 8ghz. Thanks though, appreciate the quick replies!

MTR-Aerial, I am waiting on my P3S to arrive and am interested in this antenna setup as well. You still happy with it? How about that tablet mount? Is that the one from the Inspire 1 I have seen used?

To be honest I already threw boosters on it and to be honest... the cost of both things together... send your standard back and get an advanced.

But yes if you are going to stay with the Standard... The antennas helped quite a bit but I only flew her a couple times without the boosters on it. I am not amplified with 5watt 5.8 and 4watt 2.4 and my range is ridiculous....

If you got your standard for 399... then its well worth doing the upgrades! I love my standard :)

Thanks. I am looking forward to doing some flying and learning. I mainly want it for a solid signal not to set distance records even though is cool as hell. Do you have to maintain LOS or close to it with the FPVLR setup? I think I will do some testing on factory antenna, record results and the get this antenna, test/record results and decide if boosters are needed.

Thats what I did as well.. tested it as much as I could before the antennas came in. (I am very inpatient lol, I order and print a lot, check out my 3d prints) I do not have to keep it LOS with the FPVLR.
