Hi folks, is someone have an idea how I can get a mark on a map while flying so I can retreive the GPS coordinates and return at the same point later? I have a P3S and this would be very usefull as I do forest survey to retreive rocket parts for an amateur rocket club.

You can find some tools here that are able to generate a KML file from the TXT flight log. When the KML file is opened in Google Earth, you'll be able to see the flight path and find the GPS coordinates.

I would just take a photo of each find. The coordinates of the photo will be in the EXIF data which is easily read by freeware such as Irfanview.

To view coordinates first open the photo in Irfanview, press the letter "I" on the keyboard (or from the drop-down menu click Image, then Information), then click "EXIF INFO". There's even a button there to show the location in Google Earth if you have it installed.
