I need to replace my Naza and everywhere I look seems to sell the Naza M Lite, which appears to be cosmetically the same as the Naza in my Phantom v1.2. Is it the same controller with just a different naming scheme?

I have the M-Lite. I think that the V-2 has some extra ports for equipment. I think a CANBUS port is on the V-2 and not the Lite.

No canbus port on the v2 NAZA itself, but if you buy it retail the PMU is included and that has a canbus port. Here's a comparison of the three models: http://www.dji.com/whats-difference-of- ... naza-m-v2/

Note: the 1.2 model of the original Phantom has the NAZA v1 rather than the NAZA Lite (they look very similar). 1.1.1 phantoms have the NAZA v2, but I'm not sure what was in the 1.1 and earlier Phantoms.

1.1s and earlier had the Naza-M V1
Note though, the Lite has very different flight characteristics compared to the Naza-M and M V2. I had a Lite on my F550 and found it's position hold to be quite poor in comparison and also it had a tendency to drift.
