my windsurfer results

I did some testing with my new windsurfers. I flew from the park to my house which is about 2000' then wanted to see how far I could really go. Without my windsurfers I'm getting 2000' and with them I only made it 2600'. I am surrounded by neighborhoods and trees that are about 50' high. My test elevation was about 200'. I was hoping for at least a mile. My next test will take place out in the middle of nowhere. Hopefully I will get better results.

Make yourself a tinfoil hat to go with you windsurfer antennas.

I have a similar product that I have yet to test. My P3P did well over 6000' out of the box in wide open country with no connection breakup. I wonder how far windsurfers or other similar and simple range boosters will allow? Have yet to test mine. Will they allow for better connection in situations like the OP has, such as tall trees blocking signal strength rather than just pure distance?
