I caught the last half hour or so of sunlight on Baker Beach in San Francisco.
Lessons learned:
- Copter motors do not like sand. I think I got most of it out.
- Bring a sheet of plastic to land on. Much easier to clean up and no sand in motors, gimbal, GoPro, landing gear, etc etc etc
Still being very careful with it. Ordered some FPV gear yesterday so I can see where the camera is pointing and adjust as needed. My Phantom (that I bought on Craigslist) also has the IOSD so that should also be fun with the FPV.
