Exposure is becoming quite the challenge as the sun starts to change its summer routine:). Still having a blast on this project and can't wait till next spring when it's completed! Thanks for watching!

Uh, you can do some wicked color grading with the free DaVinci Resolve software; lift those shadows etc.

Nice and smooth indeed,
Don't be scared of learning how to use scopes when color grading
Shadows should be easily recovered indeed.
I find manual camera control is best and don't forget to use nd filters

Nice scenery. It's a little too fast, IMHO. I would slow down so the viewer can take in the scene.

Hey guys thanks for the tips!

Unfortunately I have no means of color grading my videos right now. All my videos on my YT channel are edited with Apple devices:). So basically they are stacked clips. I hope to have a decent computer soon so I can get into some real editing! I use filters when shooting video which helps to keep the shutter speed low enough.

There are apps that allow some color grading, but they don't allow for multiple clips and lack the other basic editing tools. Splice is what I use and it's awesome, except it has no color options. If you guys know of an app like splice or iMovie that allows color control, please let me know!

Here's a video of mine that probably shows the limits of splice. I mixed sound to this on a separate track and matched the video! Thanks again guys!

I believe DaVinci Resolve is free and can color grade individual clips. It is a power hungry beast. You can cheat by doing the color work in DR then export it out and finish your edits in another program. Poor man's method. Yor videos seriously rock. Great job on the sound.
