Here is a video I just did up trying to show how the FPV setup works on my phantom using the DJI AVL58 fpv setup and Skylark sunview 7 inch screen mounted to the stock radio.
The camera doesn't quite capture the screen as well as it looks to my eyes but gives an idea. Being an LCD screen slightly off the viewing angle will make it look duller and there is a bit of sun glare here too. The screen was captured with another gopro hero3 be mounted to it and it kind of blocked most of my view of the screen so flying was fairly cautious plus its pretty windy. 20kmh gusting to 40kmh when this was filmed.
