My experience with DJI Care Refresh was a positive one.

By my own calculations, the damage I did to my P4P would have cost me $500 to repair myself by replacing the camera/board/gimbal assembly, and even though the parts list for the repair, not counting $65/hr for labor, was over $250, I only ended up getting charged $99. There will likely be more crashes to come, given the chances I take, and it's good to know that Care Refresh can work out, especially given the stories I've read. I would like to hear some of other peoples' experience with Care Refresh, particularly what is not covered by Care Refresh.

Yes, I was frustrated at the process and all the information that I had to provide, and I jumped the gun, also I've read quite a few negative stories, so I just assumed the worst, and I was wrong.

I can imagine the frustration, having a $1500 drone crash is not a stress free experience. Glad it worked out.
