Movie format

Does anyone know what format the DJI phantom 2 vision + saves it's HD movies in. I want to be able to bring it into my iPad mini iMovie app. Can that be done?

I use HandBrake to get mp4 video to iMovie. It's free. Just select Ipad when you start it. You have to bring it in the Ipad through photos not video for IMovie to see it.
