Motor non-response after recalibration

When trying to set the compass, flipping switch 1 multiple times doesn't seem to have an effect. However, flipping switch 2 multiple times does.

I do the horizontal 360 calibration and the lights turn solid green. I do the vertical 360 calibration and the light turns flashing green. I set the drone down and try to fly it, but the motor is non-responsive.

Firmware is current. Have recalibrated the remote and Phantom gimbel twice.

I am shooting in the middle of the south pacific, so any help would be very much appreciated!

After calibrating the compass, what are the lights (leds) telling you?
In other words: what is the led status ? (green/yellow/red etc)

Hi Nielske,

It is yellow flashing after the vertical calibration. Let me know if any other info would be helpful.

its telling you,


slow yellow leds: ready to fly without GPS (check right switch on your controller, set it to upper position!)
fast yellow leds: connection lost with remote controller
Also possible:
The Phantom is in FAILSAFE mode, check your right switch on the remote, set it to upper position!
